REDLANDS – The turnout for Saturday’s Redlands Food Truck and Brewfest exceeded expectations.
According to the city, approximately 4,000 people attended the inaugural event, which featured 14 food trucks, Hangar 24 Craft Brewery, Time in a Bottle and State Street Winery – in the parking lot of the Redlands Mall.
“We fully expected between 2,500 and 3,000 people,” said Keith Kahn, president of Gourmet Food Trucks. “To get this many people was just fantastic. It was obviously something the people wanted, and they responded.”
The event drew a huge crowd despite temperatures that hit a high of 95 degrees.
